At Goose Lake Kennel in Denali everything is related to dog training,
also new years eve.
On the last day of 2000, Aase and Morten went on a double 46-miles training run. They
stayed overnight in a small cabin called "Gold King Creek".

The dogs training condition makes the musher satisfied. The dogs are constantly challenged
physically and mentally. They have to be in very good shape to deal with all the
challenges to complete the "The last great race on earth".
